Mouldings

Plastic injection mouldings up to 220g shot weight are produced in a wide variety of engineering polymers. Once samples have been approved, our customer’s mould tools are stored ready for orders of production mouldings as and when required. Our average delivery time is 3 weeks from order.

Experienced Tool Setters and Machine Operators follow our detailed production and setting sheets to set and run each job. They also ream, pack, drill and carry out post-moulding assembly as required.

We have 8 Manumold Injection Moulding Machines. These are operator controlled and ideally suited to the production of short runs, sampling during development work, addition of inserts, use of core pullers and multiple operations. Our Manumould Machines have a 110g maximum shot weight.

Three Arburg Automatic Injection Moulding Machines (25, 35 and 50 tonnes) are used for production of long runs and multiple-impression tooling up to 220g shot capacity.

Our Easimold 77/30AD machine is located in our dedicated Clean Room for medical mouldings. This has a larger platten area for larger tools and components. It is ideal for short runs and insert loading.
