Quality Injection Mouldings and Mould Tools

BS EN ISO9001:2008 certification was achieved on 13th June 2002. Certification scope is, 'Manufacture of Prototype and Production Injection Mould Tools. Production and Assembly of Injection Mouldings.'. No non-conformances have been raised at the annual external audits which indicates our commitment to quality.

We have just updated to the newest version, ISO9001:2008 which offered the opportunity to re-examine our Quality System and further improve our processes. Quality is not seen as an option but as a business requirement. It enables us to constantly re-examine our service level and endeavour to continue an ongoing cycle of improvement.

All processes are internally audited annually, any non-conformances are rectified and improvements are continually made. Quality and reliability are engineered into the product design and manufacturing process right from the outset.

This is closely monitored throughout production. Our computer system maintains comprehensive records of all the machine settings, polymers, tools (and associated core-pullers and jigs) and processes required to manufacture each part.

Production is independently and repeatedly checked and recorded by our Quality Supervisor to ensure that the correct plastic injection mouldings are produced to the agreed specification.

Customer-approved samples are compared during each production of mouldings and then returned to the locked sample cupboard. Comprehensive records are kept of each production for review and analysis.

If a non-conformance occurs it is rigorously investigated to rectify the fault and every attempt is made to prevent re-occurrence.
